What Is The Rainbow Baby Project?
The Rainbow Baby Project is a deeply personal initiative by Baby Art Studios, created to honour and celebrate Rainbow Babies—children born after the loss of a previous pregnancy or infant. This project is close to our hearts because, as parents, we have walked this journey ourselves.
Our son, Lewis, never made it into this world, and the pain of that loss is something we will carry forever. It was this experience that inspired us to create Baby Art Studios—a place where families could capture and cherish the moments that truly matter. Now, through The Rainbow Baby Project, we are not only helping families celebrate their Rainbow Babies but also raising awareness for pregnancy and baby loss and supporting those who have experienced it.
Families booking onto The Rainbow Baby Project will receive 50% off either the Bump To Baby or Watch Me Grow packages. In addition, £24.50 of the discounted package fee will be donated to Sands, a charity dedicated to saving babies’ lives and supporting bereaved parents and families.
Every participating family also receives a special photography experience, a weighted Rainbow Bear 🌈🧸 matching their baby’s birth weight, and the opportunity to share their story as part of a movement to bring hope, healing, and remembrance.

Every day in the UK, 13 babies are stillborn or die shortly after birth. And at least 15% of pregnancies end in miscarriage.
Sands is the UK's leading charity working to save babies' lives and support bereaved families. Sands’ vision is a world where fewer babies die and when a baby does die, anyone affected receives the best possible care and support for as long as it is needed.
Sands is here for anyone affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby. The charity provides bereavement support services both nationally through its Freephone helpline, online community and resources, and locally through a network of around 110 regional support groups based across the UK and run by trained befrienders.
Sands works in partnership with health care professionals, trusts and health boards and offers a range of training programmes and bereavement care resources to ensure that every bereaved parent and family receives the best possible care wherever they are in the UK.
Sands supports and promotes research to better understand the causes of baby deaths and save babies’ lives.
