Baby Art Aylesbury
I have been doing photography for 15 years and started doing freelance wedding photography alongside a career in corporate marketing. I gave up the 9-5 in 2020 and opened my studio mid pandemic, and I never looked back. Since opening I have photographed over 350 newborn sessions, over 1200 studio sessions and have over 100 five-star reviews on Google. I also won Studio of The Year in 2021 and Photographer of the Year 2022.
I am a one-man band along with my remote assistant Janet calls all my clients to book their sessions. I enjoy working with my clients from the beginning of their journey be it the maternity or newborn session right through to the First birthday cake smash. I do all the viewings and collections and it just gives me such a thrill to be hands-on - it gives me the unique opportunity of getting to know the families I work with and witnessing my little models growing into the beautiful toddlers they are.
The three words my previous clients use to describe the experience are friendly, relaxed and patient. I strive at making my customers feel welcome and at ease, this is a very special and emotional milestone in this special journey for the family and my intention is to make it as memorable as I can for them.
My studio is based at Bradmoor Farm, complete with a farm shop, cafe and lots of little independent shops. I am nestled between a florist and an exotic animal shop, which is very popular with little toddler siblings and their Dads. There are also plenty of parking right outside my studio and lots of fresh air to be enjoyed, away from the hustle and bustle of city centre locations.
I always think that photographing newborns is such a privilege. Many of my customers tell me that, other than the midwives, I am the first to hold and handle their precious babies. Newborn photography is such a lovely thing to do with your baby, and trust between the photographer and parents are so important. That is why I encourage my parents to come for a maternity session where we can chat, laugh and have a fun session where they can get to know me. When that is not possible, I always take my time to let my parents settle in and catch up to ensure they feel comfortable and happy before I take their baby. For me baby safety is the ultimate skill when it comes to newborn photography, everything I do is baby-led and I am pleased to say my Google reviews all speak of my calm and caring approach.
